Into the Mist

On the hilltop there are still the last remaining glimpses of sunlight, but dusk is fast approaching. A path meanders down the side of a steep bank, disappearing into the vast, thick, encroaching fog. A chill seeps through the layers of clothes and into my skin, but it is the awe-inspiring beauty of  this moody weather that takes my breath away.
