White Cliffs

White Cliffs stretch as far as the eye can see, fading into the distant horizon. The low February sun shines down on the waves, highlighting the chalky white of the cliffs and the crumbled pieces of chalk below, their edges rounded by the tides.

People are walking, meandering, exploring and taking advantage of the sunny day. The café standing beside this steep drop is filled with wanderers taking a deserved break with a hot cup of tea and a slice of delicious cake. I will soon join them, but for now I will take in some more of this view.
